Stronger Together – Session de sensibilisation \u00e0 la violence domestique et \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 publique<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Dans le cadre de l’initiative communautaire Stronger Together<\/em> de L’AMGM, notre atelier le plus r\u00e9cent, le 13 f\u00e9vrier<\/strong>, a rassembl\u00e9 les nouveaux arrivants pour une session informative et responsabilisante ax\u00e9e sur la sensibilisation \u00e0 la violence domestique, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 publique et les soutiens communautaires disponibles<\/strong>. L’\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 en collaboration avec la GRC<\/strong> et les services d’aide aux victimes<\/strong>, dont l’expertise et les conseils ont aid\u00e9 les participants \u00e0 mieux comprendre comment reconna\u00eetre les situations dangereuses et comment demander de l’aide en cas de besoin. <\/p>\n

La session a offert un espace s\u00fbr et accueillant pour un dialogue ouvert. Les participants se sont engag\u00e9s dans des discussions significatives, ont pos\u00e9 des questions et ont partag\u00e9 leurs exp\u00e9riences, cr\u00e9ant ainsi un environnement propice \u00e0 l’apprentissage et au soutien. Les participants ont acquis des connaissances pr\u00e9cieuses sur le r\u00f4le des forces de l’ordre, le fonctionnement de la proc\u00e9dure de signalement et les protections et ressources disponibles pour les personnes confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des violences domestiques ou \u00e0 des agressions sexuelles. <\/p>\n

Pour favoriser le bien-\u00eatre \u00e9motionnel, l’atelier comprenait \u00e9galement une composante de m\u00e9ditation de pleine conscience<\/strong> – propos\u00e9e par Meghan – qui encourageait les participants \u00e0 explorer des techniques d’ancrage, des strat\u00e9gies de gestion du stress et des outils pour renforcer la r\u00e9silience personnelle. Un d\u00e9jeuner partag\u00e9 a suivi, donnant aux familles et aux individus l’occasion de se connecter, de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir et de poursuivre les conversations dans un cadre d\u00e9tendu. <\/p>\n

Dans l’ensemble, la session a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s interactive et tr\u00e8s instructive. Les nouveaux participants sont repartis avec une meilleure compr\u00e9hension de leurs droits, des services \u00e0 leur disposition et des mesures pratiques qu’ils peuvent prendre pour chercher du soutien en p\u00e9riode de crise. Nombreux sont ceux qui ont appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 la clart\u00e9, la compassion et l’ouverture dont ont fait preuve la GRC et les services d’aide aux victimes tout au long de l’atelier. <\/p>\n

L’AMGM remercie chaleureusement tous les partenaires, pr\u00e9sentateurs et participants d’avoir contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 une journ\u00e9e riche de sens et d’impact. Ensemble, nous continuons \u00e0 travailler pour une communaut\u00e9 plus s\u00fbre, mieux inform\u00e9e et plus r\u00e9siliente. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
