Get Ready for the Spring Edition of the Community Compass: A Newcomer Resource Expo!<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We\u2019re excited to welcome you to the Spring edition of Community Compass\u2014a vibrant newcomer resource expo! Are you ready?
\nThis event brings together our most dedicated community partners to help newcomers connect with family-focused services throughout the Greater Moncton Area. With over 20 community partner booths set up in the gymnasium at Edith Cavell, there\u2019s something for everyone!
\nBut that\u2019s not all\u2014join us for snacks, crafts, outdoor games, and even a bouncy castle! Whether you’re new to the region or a longtime resident, we invite everyone to come out, say hello, meet new friends, and enjoy the fun. Volunteers will be on hand to support with activities and provide interpretation as needed.

Stay Connected with MAGMA’s Community Connections Events!<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Looking to make meaningful connections in your community? Keep an eye out for MAGMA\u2019s Community Connections Events\u2014we\u2019re always planning something exciting!
\nOver the past few months, we\u2019ve had so much fun collaborating with community partners to create events that are engaging, inclusive, and accessible for all participants. We’ve loved getting to know new (and familiar!) faces and building strong, supportive connections.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a quick look at what we\u2019ve been up to:
\nMother\u2019s Day Celebration<\/strong> \u2013 We honored mothers, caregivers, and their families with crafts, tea, and fresh flowers.
\nNail Salon Days<\/strong> \u2013 Thanks to talented volunteers, women in our community enjoyed relaxing manicure sessions.
\nGardening 101<\/strong> \u2013 In partnership with the Community Hub, a group of young women got their hands dirty and learned about gardening\u2014because we love to grow together!
\nYouth Activities<\/strong> \u2013 From candle-making to March Break madness (think tie-dye, movie night, Resurgo Museum visit, and a babysitting course), our youth events are always a blast! We\u2019re also often found in neighborhood parks on school PD days\u2014come say hi!<\/p>\n

But Community Connections isn’t just about attending events\u2014it\u2019s also about getting involved.<\/p>\n

Have a skill, passion, or extra time you’d like to share? Join our amazing volunteer team! Volunteering can feel overwhelming at first, so we offer Volunteer<\/strong>\u00a0Information Sessions on the last Wednesday of every month, from 4:30\u20135:30 PM,<\/strong> to help you learn more about MAGMA and how you can contribute in a way that works for you.<\/p>\n
